רְצִיעָהf. (רָצַע) boring, esp. the boring through of the Hebrew bondsmans ear (according to Ex. 21:6). Kidd.I, 2 הנרצע נקנה בר׳ the slave that has his ear bored through is taken possession of by the act of boring. Ib. 17b (ref. to Deut. 15:17) אתה … או אינו אלא לר׳ you say, ‘and also to thy maid-servant thon shalt do likewise refers to the outfit (of the released slave), may it not refer to the boring?
